Beauty retailer Sa Sa has entered the online grocery and food-delivery platform Foodpanda with 700 selected products.
Sa Sa will offer a variety of beauty products including cosmetics, skincare, fragrance, haircare, body care, health supplements and “anti-epidemic products”.
According to Sa Sa, this can support customers to shop without going out, especially during the fifth Covid wave currently gripping Hong Kong. They can get anti-epidemic products for urgent needs or buy their favourite personal care and cosmetic items.
“Online shopping is gaining traction,” said Dr Simon Kwok, chairman and CEO at Sa Sa.
“The trend is especially more pronounced amid the raging pandemic as more consumers would rather stay at home than go out to protect themselves against the disease.”
Foodpanda’s couriers will pick up goods at Sa Sa stores and deliver them to customers around 10 minutes. This service will initially run from 20 of Sa Sa’s stores, with more to be progressively added in the future.
“We believe that Foodpanda’s quick delivery meets our customers’ increasing demand for convenient, fast online shopping service,” Dr Kwok added.
“In the light of the urgent demand for anti-epidemic products, we are offering them at Foodpanda mall in the hope of providing citizens one more convenient shopping channel to help fight the pandemic. We also hope to enhance the OMO function at Sa Sa’s operation through the partnership with Foodpanda mall so as to provide customers with a more seamless and convenient shopping experience.”
Foodpanda also launches promotional offers from March to April to celebrate its partnership with Sa Sa.
