The 258-year-old French crystal brand Baccarat has opened its first store in Vietnam.
Located in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City, the flagship has elegant decor, including crystal designs to catch and reflect natural light.
“Vietnamese crystal lovers can accentuate their living space with novelty furniture from the latest crystal collections from Baccarat,” said the spokesperson of S&S Group, the official distributor of Baccarat in Vietnam.
Baccarat is a handmade crystal maker founded in 1764 in eastern France, under the patronage of King Louis XV and has become one of the prominent monuments in this field since the end of the 19th century.
Based on the long-standing reputation, Baccarat’s products have appeared in palaces of the Indian Maharajahs, Tsar Nicholas II’s candelabra, and on orders of the Japanese Court.
“Baccarat was the first unit in France to produce coloured crystals (1839). Many shades become the trademark of the brand to this day, such as ruby red.” the spokesperson added.
