Singapore’s menswear label, Benjamin Barker, has launched its first Vietnam store at Hanoi’s Vincom Mega Mall Times City in partnership with local distributor Thai Tuan.

The store marks Benjamin Barker’s 17th store and fifth country after Singapore, Australia, Cambodia and Malaysia. The launch is part of the retailer’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia. The store design follows the brand’s original look, featuring its signature navy blue.

“It is not a coincidence that we choose Vietnam as the destination, but we choose Thai Tuan as a partner,” said Khoo Kar Tiong, operation director of Benjamin Barker Group.

“This cooperation with Thai Tuan Group in expanding the Benjamin Barker brand throughout the region. We believe that Thai Tuan with a long track record of achievements in the textile and garment industry will achieve great success in developing Benjamin Barker in Vietnam.”

Founded in 2009 by Melbourne-based designer Nelson Yap, Benjamin Barker Group currently operates businesses, including Benjamin Barker Tailor, The Assembly Group Store, The Assembly Group, and B Burger.
