Digital-first lifestyle platform Hypebeast is expanding its footprint by launching its first physical flagship store in New York.

The store, located on 41 Division Street in Manhattan’s Chinatown, has seven stories and a total area of around 25,000 sqft. It opens on Friday (June 17).

The flagship store will feature all aspects of Hypebeast’s ecosystem under one roof, according to the company, including the HBX New York flagship store, a Hypebeans cafe, event spaces, and office headquarters.

The ground floor will be used for events, exhibitions, or pop-up shops. This is the first Hypebeans location in the US, where customers can enjoy coffee while networking.

Meanwhile, the second floor will feature a global selection of menswear, womenswear, and lifestyle apparel from more than 40 brands.

The third floor will house cultural activations and brand pop-ups, and the rest of the building is Hypebeast’s North American headquarters, which will employ more than 100 people.

Hypebeast was founded in 2005 and has more than 44.7 million users in North America, Asia Pacific, Europe, and other regions. Since adding e-commerce store HBX.com, agency Hypemaker, and coffee shop Hypebeans, the company has broadened its portfolio.
