UK-based fashion label, Studio Nicholson, has launched its first standalone store in Asia, in South Korea, in partnership with Samsung C&T Fashion Division’s Beaker.

Located on the third floor of the Hyundai Department Store in Apgujeong, the Studio Nicholson store was designed based on its Japanese architecture-inspired global store concept, featuring a modern yet elegant retail space with wooden displays on a pure white background.

Founder and creative director, Nick Wakeman, took care of every detail of the store’s design and fitout by hand, preparing for the brand’s first meeting with South Korean customers. Studio Nicholson’s first exclusive Asian store is home to a full collection of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories, including the PF22/ AW22 Collection.

Founded in 2010, Studio Nicholson creates functional pieces inspired by Japanese architecture, interiors, grunge music, 1990s sub-culture and geological landscapes. The label has two stores in London.

Besides Beaker, Samsung C&T Fashion currently operates 32 brands and 1179 stores in South Korea.
