Two new international coffee chains – Cafe Kitsune and Melbourne-based Puzzle Coffee – have expanded their international reach, making their Singapore debuts.

Puzzle Coffee is set to open its first coffee shop in the bustling Ion Orchard Shopping Centre, marking its international debut after opening three stores in its home country. The brand also plans to add a new store in Melbourne’s Chadstone Shopping Centre.

The cafe design features wooden aesthetic elements. The menu for the Singapore store also includes a selection of pastries produced by Bakery Artisan Original. The Melbourne-based artisan coffee house is known for serving hot drinks in edible biscuit cups made of oats and grains. The coffee used was sustainably-sourced and roasted in-house.

Meanwhile, French-Japanese lifestyle brand Maison Kitsune will open its first cafe in Singapore at Capitol Singapore on December 1. The store will be the brand’s fourth cafe location in Southeast Asia after Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Maison Kitsune Singapore’s menu includes the brand’s signature drinks and Fox-shaped shortbread, a nod to its logo.

Earlier this year, the brand opened its first store in the Philippines via franchisee the Fredley Group of Companies. Last year, the brand opened Beijing’s first Kitsune boutique and cafe last year at the city’s fashion destination, Taikoo-Li Sanlitun.
