MLB is expanding its footprint in Southeast Asia with the first brick-and-mortar store in Malaysia to open in partnership with local distributor Valiram Group.

Located at IOI City Mall in Putrajaya, MLB says the first store in Malaysia is an Instagram-worthy retail space and offers a variety of clothing, headwear, footwear, and accessories for both men and women.

The business aims to become the go-to location for caps by offering more than 300 traditional and modern styles, said to be the largest selection in Asia.

In a joint venture with Vietnamese distributor Maison Retail Management International (MRMI), MLB opened its first physical store in Cambodia earlier this month.

MLB, or Major League Baseball, is the oldest professional sports league in existence. The first MLB store was established in 1997 by the South Korean clothing business F&F after receiving the official license from MLB.

The Asian region is home to more than 650 MLB locations across South Korea, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, China, Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore.
