Global events business Comexposium is expanding its premier Australian and New Zealand retail event into the Southeast Asian market in August of this year.

Under its iMedia brand, its suite of retail summits is widely known as the best in the industry. The unique iMedia summit format is designed to encourage business relationships and centres around high-level networking, with world-class thought-leadership presentations and keynotes from industry experts.

All content is designed to educate, motivate, and support decision-makers across the retail category. The iMedia Online Retail Summit SEA unveils its advisory board this week, tasked with ensuring the hottest industry topics, trends and issues are covered in the content of the summit’s three-day agenda.

“The advisory board we have built from across the region will surface the big issues that SEA retailers face. From there we build a speaker line-up to meet the needs of the regions,” said Ryf Quail, MD at Comexposium for Australia, NZ and South East Asia.

“We are already very active in the region and tried to launch iMedia Online Retail Summit SEA in 2020, only to be stopped by Covid. We know there is demand for an event of this nature to accommodate the retailer and e-commerce leaders representing Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand and The Philippines. We can’t wait to get back there.”

iMedia will gather the region’s best enterprise-level e-commerce retailers and leading technology and solution providers under one roof at the Hilton Bali Resort in Nusa Dua, from August 21 to 23.

Applications to attend are open now, with only 150 spaces available for senior enterprise-level e-commerce retailers and vendors – so you should act fast.

“This will be our very first iMedia Online Retail Summit SEA built to cater specifically to SEA retailers, as well as emerging marketplaces,” said Shirley Chan, Singapore-based commercial director for Comexpoisium. “It will provide a unique platform for discussions on the pressing industry issues from customer service, logistics or supply chain to trends in marketing, social media, and consumer behaviour.”

Comexposium runs iMedia Summits from Goa in India to Okinawa in Japan, and from Taupo in New Zealand to the Gold Coast in Australia, covering disciplines such as retail e-commerce, martech and adtech.

The three-day in-person iMedia Online Retail Summit SEA agenda includes retailer-led roundtables, keynote speakers, the ever-popular business connect session (of 10 10-minute speed-dating style meetings) and unique networking opportunities laced into the content sessions. For anyone who has not yet attended an iMedia Summit, they can gain a better understanding here of what to expect.

So, if you’re an e-commerce leader in enterprise-level retail or supporting solutions, you are encouraged to apply by registering via the iMedia Online Retail Summit South East Asia site.
