Fashion retailer Diesel has revamped its store in Tokyo’s Shibuya, under the creative direction of Glenn Martens.
The rebuilt store has two storeys and contains visuals with Diesel red and industrial metal billboards.
The store features the latest Diesel collections and exclusive items including a denim capsule collection and silver jewellery chokers. It also features The Redwall, a separate room for Diesel’s core denim range.
Diesel Shibuya, one of Diesel Japan’s largest stores, offers an art exhibit for upcoming artists and is the brand’s first to include Renzo Rosso’s restaurant, Cucina Diesel Farm.
The reopening also marks the debut of the “Upcycle Lab” section, where Diesel’s used clothing and dead stock will be available for purchase. In addition to quick-fix services, the store will provide denim repair and upcycling services.
