Loewe has opened its first Casa Loewe in Seoul, South Korea.

The retail concept – designed by Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson – aims to offer an “eclectic blend” of fashion, art, and design.

Located in the Gangnam Apgujeong neighbourhood, the store is adjacent to other luxury outlets such as Loro Piana, Hublot, and Louis Vuitton.

The 433sqm, three-story retail space offers the full range of men’s and women’s ready-to-wear, alongside bags, shoes, small leather goods, eyewear, home scents and other accessories.

It also features a series of artist-designed handbags and baskets, including works by Bamboo artist Hafu Matsumoto and Japanese artist Tanabe Chikuunsai 4th, which are available exclusively at the new store.

The shop’s exterior is vibrant green ceramic, with cool concrete walls to break the outdoor heat. Touches of oak, brass, marble, and blue and brown tiles reflect the playful style often found in Anderson’s designs.

In addition to clothing and accessories, the store also offers a selection of designer furniture, including chairs from Berin Club and Utrecht and Steltman, woodwork from George Nakashima, leather puffer benches, and abstract carpets designed by British textile artist John Allen.
