Israeli company Delta Galil has signed a strategic deal with India giant Reliance Retail to establish an apparel innovation platform to meet Indian consumers’ demands. 

This 50/50 joint venture will enable Delta Galil to provide its portfolio of apparel and activewear brands via retail, wholesale, and online channels. Delta Galil will also develop and produce items for Reliance’s recognised brands. 

Delta Galil plans to launch its first Delta family lifestyle outlets and Athena brand within the next 18 months.

With a population of 1.4 billion, India has emerged as a crucial market for both domestic and international retailers. The partnership is likely to bolster Reliance Retail’s footprint in the apparel and activewear sectors, which are expected to grow rapidly in the Indian market. 

Delta Galil Industries offers apparel for men, women, and children under the labels Schiesser, Eminence, Athena, and Delta.
