Hermes has unveiled its newly expanded and renovated store at Central Embassy, Bangkok.

The revamped boutique – designed by Parisian architecture agency RDAI – aims to reflect the brand’s craftsmanship while drawing inspiration from Bangkok’s traditional architecture, such as bamboo formations.

The store now spans two floors, including an extended upper level. Its facade features lacquered champagne-coloured inserts reminiscent of spliced bamboo stems that filter natural light into the interiors.

On the ground floor, beauty and fragrances are displayed within a curved nook leading to women’s silks at the centre of the store. Meanwhile, adjacent sections house fashion jewellery, equestrian goods, home collections, and a leather goods area.

A terracotta terrazzo staircase leads to the second floor, where women’s and men’s ready-to-wear collections are featured alongside men’s silks. The shoe section sits atop a bold graphic rug, while the jewellery and watch salon is accented with sand-toned carpets and glazed details.

Expanding on its nature theme, the store incorporates artworks from the Emile Hermes collection. Notable installations include galloping wireframe horse sculptures by French artist Marie Christophe, geometric illustrations by Cecile Baillot-Jourdan, and black-and-white photography by Tadzio.
