Indian startup aims to eclipse Asos

Indian online startup company Koovs aims to as big as British online retailer Asos. Koovs, set up by former Asos chairman Lord Alli, has recently raised Rs225 crore ($37 million) from listing on AIM, a sub-market of the London Stock Exchange. Asos launches China website

Fashion website Asos has launched its standalone dedicated website for the Chinese market. Asos.cn is the eighth country-specific site launch alongside the US, Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Russia. “China continues to impress us with its steady growth. Asos says it is in the final testing stage of its local language China e-commerce site which could go live in the next few weeks.
