American fashion brand Michael Kors has opened a new flagship in China. Sprawling across 6000 sqft, the store at Jing An Kerry Centre in Shanghai, is the brand’s largest in mainland. Loewe opens Shanghai flagship

Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe has opened its largest store outside its home market. The store is located in Shanghai’s Jing An Kerry Centre and spans 6673 sqft. The Peter Marino-designed retail space features a 31-foot high facade in bronze panels and an interior of stucco walls and oak floors. It features two large interactive screens which illustrate the brand’s products and history. Also housed in the store is an Amazona Atelier, where customers can custom-order their handbags. …

US retailer Under Armour has opened a first-of-its-kind retail experience in China. The company has created an environment it says places storytelling at the forefront through a multi-dimensional short film that immerses visitors in the brand’s world of making athletes better through passion and innovation. Karl Lagerfeld takes off in China

German designer brand Karl Lagerfeld has taken its first step to expand into China. Owner Apax Partners has opened the first two of 40 boutiques planned for China over the next five years – in Beijing and Shanghai. The 2400 sqft Beijing boutique is at Charter Shopping Centre while the one in Shanghai is located at Jing An Kerry Centre and spans 1100 sqft.
