Thai chain plans 100 new cafes

Thai coffee chain Doi Chaang is to open about 100 new franchised cafes across the nation this year, cashing in on growing consumer demand for premium coffee. It also plans further expansion in the Asean region, where it currently has 10 branches in Malaysia, one in Myanmar and one in Indonesia. A second will open in Myanmar this year along with a first cafe in Laos.
