Popcorn chain hits Thailand

US franchise chain Garrett has entered Thailand through a joint venture with real estate mogul Suchad Chiaranussati. Garrett, known for its handmade popcorn, has opened its flagship outlet in Thailand at Siam Paragon shopping mall. Harrods Tea Room expands to Thailand

British luxury tea room and restaurant Harrods has expanded to Thailand, opening at Siam Paragon in Bangkok. Its local partner, LME Co, plans to open two more outlets at CentralWorld and The Embassy. The Siam Paragon outlet features an interior of green and cream hues and can accommodate 80 people. Bangkok luxury shopping mall Siam Paragon was the world’s most Instagrammed location of 2013. This is the second year in a row a Thai location has topped the list.
