Following the opening of its Asian flagship boutique in Hong Kong three years ago, IWC Schaffhausen now presents its first boutique in Macau at the Galaxy casino complex. Often called Asia’s Las Vegas, the former Portuguese colony of Macau, now a Chinese SAR, has world class resorts and spectacular architecture making it a premier destination well suited to Swiss luxury watch brand IWC Schaffhausen, the company said. mporters from Lisbon and Porto and has since maintained close links with Macau’s rich history of seafaring.
The new luxury premises in Macau feature a collection of IWC watches and aim to give customers “a unique, quality service experience”.
The store’s facade invites customers to discover the world of the Portuguese watches and the world of marine navigation together with the legendary Pilot’s Watch family and its elite Topgun models.
The latter are showcased with aviation style decor in lounge area, which also displays the Da Vinci collection, IWC’s tribute to the Renaissance’s all-round genius and his lifelong passion for the precise measurement of time.
The journey continues into the corporate area to include the Aquatimer diver’s watch family and the Ingenieur, engineered to master extreme conditions.
The Portofino family completes the display of all watch families, encapsulating Italian lifestyle at its best.
IWC Schaffhausen CEO Georges Kern said the IWC boutique in Macau represents another milestone in the brand’s worldwide expansion.
“Macau attracts a discerning and affluent clientele, among them many watch enthusiasts and collectors, who will appreciate the welcoming and refined ambience we have created at the new Galaxy Macau boutique,” said Kern.
