Moving forward, Donnelly’s role will be split into two separate positions: a head of PVH Americas, and a leadership role at Calvin Klein.
“In the current environment, it is critical to redouble our focus on execution to unlock the full potential of the Americas region and also to continue to grow the Calvin Klein brand globally,” Larsson said.
“We will significantly improve our ability to execute the PVH+ Plan by splitting these roles and bringing on leaders with different skill sets who can devote their full attention to these important roles.“
Starbucks names new CEO
US coffee chain Starbucks has named FMCG specialist Laxman Narasimhan as the company’s new CEO and a member of the board.
Narasimhan will move to Seattle and work alongside interim CEO Howard Schultz from October as incoming CEO, spending time with the management team, partners and customers and gaining in-depth exposure to the brand, company culture, and Reinvention plan before his appointment takes effect on April 1.
“He is uniquely positioned to shape this work and lead the company forward with his partner-centred approach and demonstrated track record of building capabilities and driving growth in both mature and emerging markets,” said Schultz.
Narasimhan has some 30 years of experience working with global consumer-facing brands. Before joining Starbucks, Narasimhan held leadership roles at PepsiCo, including as global chief commercial officer, the CEO of PepsiCo Latin America, and the CFO of PepsiCo Americas Foods.
Ex-Zara boss starts production company

Former chief executive of textile giant Inditex, Pablo Isla, has started his own film production company, saying in a statement on Friday that he hoped to use his “deep passion for film” and business experience to advance Spain’s movie industry.
Isla stepped down from the owner of the global fashion brand Zara in April after more than a decade leading the company’s global expansion, passing the torch to Marta Ortega, the daughter of Inditex owner Amancio Ortega, who took over as non-executive chairwoman.
Following his departure from Inditex in April, Isla has remained a member of the board of Nestlé, joined U.S. private equity firm General Atlantic as a global senior adviser, and became advisory board chairman at Spain’s IE University.
“I intend to contribute my business experience to the audiovisual world and, based on my deep passion for film, help the development of the thriving Spanish audiovisual industry,” Isla wrote in the statement issued by the new company, Fonte Films.
