Mister Donut has opened its first Hong Kong store, at K11 Art Mall in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The Japanese doughnut chain partnered with Hong Kong franchisee Dragon Circle Enterprise as part of its overseas expansion plan in the region, with a second store to open by the end of the year.

By 2027, the duo expects to have opened nine Mister Donut stores.

“Our market research shows that there is a huge potential customer base in Hong Kong,” said Fanny Su, CEO of Dragon Circle Enterprise.

“They are so looking forward to the Mister Donut brand coming to Hong Kong. That is why we are bringing the brand to the city.”

Su said that the Hong Kong stores would offer a wide range of doughnuts, including the signature product Pon de Ring, with the same ingredients used in Japan.
