Most retail rankings tell you who is biggest. The Brand Conviction Index tells you who consumers believe in. These are Asia's top 100.
70,000 consumers across 11 Asian markets decided who they believe in most. The result is the Brand Conviction Index, the first independently verified ranking of Asia’s most believed-in retailers, powered by YouGov BrandIndex data.
The ranking is built on 12 months of continuous consumer research measuring three things across the total market population: who is buying from a brand, who recommends it without being asked, and who intends to return. The relationship between those three numbers determines each brand’s position on the list.
Conviction matters because it is the earliest signal of commercial momentum. The brands that generate genuine advocacy spend less acquiring customers, build stronger defences against disruption, and create pipelines of future demand that no marketing budget can manufacture. This list identifies the retailers that have built exactly that.

The brands that reach retail decision-makers don't do it through noise. They do it through credibility.
And right now, credibility has never mattered more. The cost of customer acquisition is rising. Agentic search is changing how consumers discover and choose brands, shifting influence away from paid channels and toward reputation, trust, and genuine advocacy. In that environment, the retailers with the deepest relationships with their markets will win. And the partners who help the industry understand that shift will earn a level of attention that media spend alone cannot buy.
