Destination Maternity, described as the world’s biggest maternity designer and retailer, has opened flagship stores in South Korea.

The Philadelphia-based company has opened two standalone stores and two stores-in-stores.

The two standalone stores are located at 1430 Dunsan-dong, Seo-gu, city of DaeJeon and at 203-36 HwaJeon-dong, Dukyang-gu, city of Koyang.

The Destination Maternity stores-in-stores can be found in Nextmom Garden Five Mall in Moonjung-dong section of Songpa-gu and at Nextmom store in Youksam-dong section of Kangnam-gu, both in Seoul. They are operated by Agabang & Company, a company based in Korea specialising in toddler clothing and related goods.

The Agabang & Company owned and operated Nextmom shops offer wide range of pre- and post-natal products like baby toys, clothes, nursery furniture, wellness products and others.

Destination Maternity features maternity brands A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity. It sells a broad selection of maternity accessories, fashion, and other products for pregnant women.

Through a multi-year franchise agreement, Agabang & Company has been granted exclusive rights by Destination Maternity to operate and distribute the company’s brands. The partnership with Agabang & Company is the third franchise relationship that Destination Maternity has entered into.

Destination Maternity has also stores-in-stores in the Middle East and India. At present, the company has 61 franchised locations internationally, of which 48 are shops-in-shops and 13 are standalone stores.

While in US and Canada, Destination Maternity has 656 standalone stores. It has also an online website DestinationMaternity.com apart from its brand-specific websites.
