7-Eleven to debut in Myanmar

Japanese-based convenience store chain 7-Eleven plans to enter Myanmar this year via a master franchise agreement.

Zaygabar Company, which operates businesses in the hotel industry, housing projects, trade, industrial zones and construction in the country, will operate the Japanese convenience store chain across Myanmar.

“They have already met in Thailand to discuss the matter. Zaygabar Company will open 7-Eleven stores in all parts of Myanmar.

“The company is trying its best to establish the stores within this year,” said the sources.
