Wahoo’s plans Japan foray

Wahoo’s Fish Taco, a US fast casual restaurant chain that offers Mexican foods mixed with Brazilian and Asian flavors, plans to open in Japan.

The first Japanese outlet is planned to open later this year to be run by local partner and will be its first foray outside the US.

The California-based restaurant chain is known for its signature fish tacos. It also offers many vegan options such as tofu, banzai veggies and brown rice, as well as a kid’s menu.

Founded by brothers Wing Lam, Ed Lee and Mingo Lee, Wahoo’s Fish Taco has 25 years of experience in restaurant business. During the past two decades, the chain has grown to include 65 locations throughout seven states.
