River Island, the British high-street fashion brand, has expanded into India.
The company has teamed up with India’s online fashion destination, Jabong.com, to offer a wide range of products including party wear, denim, shoes, bags and accessories for both men and women.
Josie Roscop, River Island marketing director said: “We see India as an important milestone in our global expansion and a market with ample opportunity for growth.”
“Through an e-commerce platform we want to make our brand accessible to a larger audience,” she added.
Jabong.com plans to collaborate with more international brands to make global fashion accessible to Indian consumers.
