Japanese e-commerce company Rakuten is aiming to make online shopping rewarding and fun.

Rakuten has launched an all-winner online raffle site ‘Rakuten Books Clickji Store’ on its online marketplace Rakuten Ichiba.

By clicking a button on the store site and purchasing a raffle ticket, users can win Rakuten exclusive merchandise featuring popular anime and manga characters. The prize can be immediately checked on the site and will be delivered at a later date.

The service has started with a tie-up with Free! – Eternal Summer, the popular Japanese TV anime series about friendship and competition among high school boys’ swimming clubs.

Five items, including life-size cardboard cutouts of characters, reversible cushions and posters featuring the main characters of the show will be offered as prizes until September 19.

Rakuten will expand its tie-up merchandise offerings at the Rakuten Books Clickji Store from family-friendly characters to apparel brands, aiming to promote the service to wider audience.
