Samsung’s ‘Smart Learning’ hits India

Tech giant Samsung is making education easy and interesting for students in India.

It has launched a digital education store called ‘Samsung Smart Learning’ to provide multimedia study material to over 70 million students studying in classes 1st to 12th for CBSE board and another 4.5 million students preparing for competitive examinations.

The cloud-based education solution supplements traditional classroom learning, with content based on a problem solving and an interactive approach for students. It stresses concept understanding in students, says Tarun Malik, director, media solutions center – South West Asia, Samsung Electronics.

“At Samsung, we are committed to being the first in software services innovation and with Smart Learning; we are looking to establish our leadership in this space too,” Malik said.

Currently, more than 7000 stores across the country have been equipped to provide education content on the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
