Fiskars Group’s key Scandinavian lifestyle design brand Iittala is opening its first Korean store this month.

The new store will be located inside the Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo in Seoul.

The Korean expansion follows its entry into the Taiwanese market.

“Iittala focuses on practical but timeless design to make products which are long-admired and have enriched our lives,” Oh Dong-eun, president of Royal Copenhagen Korea, said.

“Considering the fact that more and more Koreans have eclectic tastes in lifestyle brands, Iittala is expected to write a new chapter in the market,” she said.

Five more stores are planned for Korea.
