Van Cleef & Arpels Ion Orchard boutique opens

Step into the new Van Cleef & Arpels Ion Orchard boutique and expect a unique experience.

The luxury jewellery, watch and perfume retailer has installed technology which synchronises the lighting and musical ambience of the space, triggered only when a customer steps into the room.

It’s part of a melding of the heritage of the Van Cleef & Arpels brand with a commitment to innovation which “elevate the experience of its clients,” according to the brand.

“This meeting of century-old craftsmanship and innovation is further heightened by the boutique’s exquisite decor. The linear patterns and palette of inviting earth tones adopted in this recherche space are juxtaposed against plush furnishings and a decor scheme reminiscent of a refined drawing room.

“Tactile wall coverings adorned with minimalist floral renderings also allude to the Maison’s signature designs inspired by nature, such as the Two Butterfly and Cosmos collections.

“Discreetly distilled gold wrought iron screens bear a geometric pattern – a throwback to the precious Minaudiere created by the Maison in the 1930s. Crafted from noble materials, these improved vanity cases contained a multitude of compartments designed to welcome all the essential accessories of a fashionable lady.”

Van Cleef & Arpels explains that apart from their decorative allure, the dividers also create salons dedicated to the various collections and heighten the sense of privacy and exclusivity. “Such treatments lend the perfect finishing touch of subtle elegance, culminating in the overall effect of delicacy and comfort – a welcoming destination steeped in timeless elegance.”

The range of Van Cleef & Arpels graceful pieces are encased within curved showcases and domed receptacles.

“These testaments to the Maison’s history include iconic creations such as Ballerina and Fairy clips, Alhambra, Perlee and Flowers collections, treasured timepieces as well as wedding and engagement rings.”

To celebrate the opening of the new boutique, Van Cleef & Arpels is unveiling the Cadenas exhibition in Ion Orchard.

Van Cleef & Arpels was founded in Paris in 1896 by Alfred Van Cleef and his uncle Salomon Arpels. The company has three boutiques in Singapore, the other two being at Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City.
