Angry Birds have flown the whole gamut, from a computer game to a movie to a meal at McDonald’s Singapore.

As part of a global partnership with Sony Pictures Releasing International to mark the launch of screenings for The Angry Birds movie, the fast-food chain has introduced a range of themed food choices.

Included is a burger with red buns, jalapeno chicken nuggets and Happy Meal collectibles. There is even an ice cream flavour. Inspired by Angry Birds character Chuck, the Lemon Custard McFlurry will come with brownie bits, says the restaurant.

“Singaporeans love the Angry Birds,” says McDonald’s Singapore senior marketing director Yvonne Low.

Angry Birds have been making an appearance in other McDonald’s restaurants around Asia as the game app takes to the big screen. In Thailand, McDonald’s beverage cups and other packaging have been released featuring the cartoon livery.
