NH Prima International aims to triple offshore sales

Malaysian fashion brand NH Prima International (Naelofar Hijab) aims to triple its overseas sales to RM15m (US$3.75 million) next year, supported by its store opening in London next month.

Director Noor Neelofa Mohd Noor, who is also an actress and TV host, says the company raked in an average RM5m in overseas sales via its online platform.

“I hope the new store in Chelsea will further boost our international sales,” she said at a “CelebExports” press conference in Kuala Lumpur hosted by the Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade).

Naelofar Hijab’s scarf collection is sold online to more than 37 countries including Australia, Brunei, France, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, the UAE, the UK and the US.

Noor Neelofa says the company last year had sales of RM50m, with the international market accounting for 10 per cent of its revenue.
