Acne Studios Hong Kong has opened its second store, in IFC mall.

Founded in Sweden in 1996, Acne Studios has become an international fashion house with flagship stores in Paris, London, New York, Los Angeles and Tokyo. It combines fashion with an interest in photography, art, architecture and contemporary culture.

“I love the buzzing cultural mix of Hong Kong, its food as well as the city’s dynamic between water and land,” says Acne chairman Mikael Schiller. “We have been searching for the right location for a long time.”

Its 111 sqm space features the new Acne Studios interior concept, with stainless-steel walls, steel hangers and long tables. It will offer men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, footwear, accessories and denim, all designed in its original headquarters in Stockholm’s Old Town.

Acne’s first Hong Kong store opened in Ice House Street in 2014.

Meanwhile, Acne Studios will open its first Beijing store this month.
