US streetwear brand Noah, known for its quality and ethical production, has launched its first store for Asia, in Tokyo’s Harajuku district.
Noah was founded by former Supreme designer Brendon Babenzien. His flagship Noah Clubhouse in the Japanese capital features a hotel-like layout complete with a reception area.
Babenzien’s wife Estelle designed the 2500sqft (230sqm) space which, as well as being a retail outlet, serves as a gathering space.
Each room in the shop is filled with custom furniture and fixtures. Areas include a gallery, library, study area, open-plan living and kitchen space, men’s salon and dressing room, and a balcony, reports High Snobiety.
An opening art exhibit features work from close friends of the brand, including Curtis Kulig, Henry Leutwyler and Oliver Jeffers. The art installations will change every six months.
To mark the opening, the brand is offering an exclusive set of t-shirts and hoodies.
