Luncheon Star launches mobile-ordering app for schools

Student lunch provider Luncheon Star has released a mobile ordering app for schools, parents, and students.
The Cafe de Coral subsidiary claims the app is the first of its kind in the industry. Users of the service can use credit cards online, go to convenience stores or use PPS to pay.
The app displays selections for purchase, order statuses and payment history.
“As the largest student lunch provider in Hong Kong, Luncheon Star is committed to implementing new measures and providing proper assistance to schools, helping them minimise administrative procedures,” said GM Choi King Kiu.
Luncheon Star’s mobile ordering app has been launched on a trial basis in about 10 schools.
“We are looking forward to including more schools to the ordering system,” he said.
