Hong Kong fashion labels make New York Fashion Week debut

Three Hong Kong fashion labels have made their New York Fashion Week debuts.
The labels – Anveglosa, Heaven Please+ and 112 Mountainyam – showcased their Fall/Winter 2019 Collection at the Fashion Hong Kong runway show, with the participation of more than 100 buyers including Loren Nadres, director of economic development at New York City’s Mayor’s Office.
Fashionistas and celebrities also attended the event, including Hong Kong’s Daisy Toi, actresses Francesca Curran and Nicole Kang, and Miss America Nia Franklin.
A rooftop networking reception at the Arlo Soho hotel were held on the same day in order to connect Hong Kong designers with fashion industry representatives.

Fashion Hong Kong is a series of international promotional events organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) to promote Hong Kong fashion designers and labels in the global fashion arena.
Since 2015, Fashion Hong Kong has actively participated in international fashion weeks and renowned events – in cities such as New York, London, Copenhagen, Tokyo and Shanghai – to showcase Hong Kong’s unique and diversified designs.
New York Fashion Week Reception_Models
The Fashion Hong Kong Showroom is running from February 1 to March 31 at FTL Moda, one of the major professional showrooms located on New York’s fashion strip Seventh Avenue.
Ten other Hong Kong fashion brands – Big Horn And Ejj Jewellery, Andrew Kayla, Artini, Berayah, Blank Concept, Favebykennyli, Jade In Style, Jewcells, and Nobeing – feature in the showroom.
To optimise exposure for the Hong Kong fashion brands during their time in New York, Fashion Hong Kong will take part in Coterie – the premier global event and trade platform for contemporary fashion brands in New York – for the first time. Participating brands, including Anveglosa, House Of V and Methodology, will showcase their collections in Coterie from February 25-27  to help them connect with international buyers.
