Mall group, bank and delivery service launch virtual Get Foodhall

The Mall Group Thailand has teamed up with food-delivery service Get and Siam Commercial Bank to launch Get Foodhall.

The new service allows customers to purchase from different outlets of The Mall in a single order. For instance, while waiting for noodles, the delivery person proceeds to order milk tea so both orders arrive at the same time and the customer only pays for a single delivery fee.

“Get Foodhall does more than present our users with a greater variety of choices from the Mall’s food outlets,” said Pinya Nittayakasetwat, CEO at Get. “The model originated from the insights we acquired through our popular multi-orders feature, which found that many of our users like to order from more than one restaurant.”

According to Nittayakasetwat, the service also offers personalised recommendations to each customer based on their order history.

Get Foodhall service will be introduced at The Mall’s five main department stores in Bangkok: Paragon, EmQuartier, Emporium, The Mall Bangkae and The Mall Bangkapi. The company aims to expand the service to 13 more department stores by the end of this year.

Chutidej Poocharoentou, VP of merchandising supermarket at The Mall Group, said the partnership with Get will be a key part of the company’s plan to expand its food business and support partner restaurants, numbering more than 100 outlets, in malls and at Gourmet Market stores, across Bangkok, to gain more transactions.
