Japanese restaurant chain Kura Sushi has opened a flagship restaurant in Tokyo’s Asakusa district, designed by Kashiwa Sato of Samurai. The Kura Sushi eatery features traditional Japanese architecture with wooden interiors. The frame of a wooden ‘house’ stands in the heart of the restaurant, creating a canopy over seating and the conveyor belts carrying food. Kura Sushi also offers an app for customers to self check-in, make payment or even show them available seats in the rest
