H&M-owned Swedish fashion brand, Monki, is set to make its Singapore debut in partnership with e-commerce platform Zalora.

The Singapore launch is part of the brand’s strategy to strengthen its presence in Southeast Asia, marking its third market in the region, after Malaysia and the Philippines.

“The love for Monki’s creative collections and strong brand values is what brings our community together,” said Dahlin Hansson, the brand’s MD.

Through the Zalora platform, Singaporean customers can find a selection of Monki’s ready-to-wear products and accessories, including a denim range in 100-per-cent organic and recycled cotton.

“The fun, street style aesthetic that Monki’s collections offer makes a fashion statement that we hope our customers will enjoy adding to their carts,” said Simone Cortini, director of marketplace at Zalora.

Monki is known for on-trend collections, including colourful prints and oversized silhouettes. Since 2018, the brand has been using sustainably sourced cotton in its products.
