South Korean fashion label Acme De La Vie (ADLV) has opened its first physical location in Vietnam under the partnership with local distributor Tam Son International, following the expansion in Australia earlier this year.

ADLV’s first Vietnam store is located inside the newly-opened shopping centre Thiso Mall in Ho Chi Minh City, which is also home to Hong Kong lingerie brand 6ixty8ight’s first store in the country. The store’s design follows ADLV’s signature store look, featuring a modern black-and-white colour scheme. ADLV Thiso Mall is home to the brand’s full selection of clothing, including t-shirts, sweaters, jeans, and hats.

Marking the launch, the brand has also introduced a limited collection with a teddy bear sporting Vietnam’s traditional ao dai that is exclusive to the market.

Tam Son International said it will open the second ADLV store in Hanoi as well as an online retail channel.

Established by identical twins Jae-Mo and Jin-Mo Gu in 2017, ADLV is known for its oversized “baby face” hoodies and t-shirts. The brand’s name, Acme De La Vie, which translates as “the pinnacle of life,” is based on a French phrase.

The brand seeks to make a social statement through the creation of high-quality, inspirational products, and ADLV is also looking to expand its footprint in diverse areas such as Thailand, Europe, and the US.
