Fila Holdings names Todd Klein as new president of North America unit

Fila Holdings, which owns the worldwide sports brand Fila, has named Todd Klein as the new president of its North American subsidiary Fila USA.

Fila said the appointment aims to raise the brand’s equity in line with the group’s North American goals under its five-year global strategy, Winning Together, which aims to deliver growth globally by redefining Fila’s brand value and building a customer experience-oriented business model.

“Todd is the ideal choice to lead Fila USA as the group proceeds with our five-year global strategy, cementing Fila as a consistent premium lifestyle sports brand driven by sustainable growth,” said Keun-Chang Yoon, CEO and president of Fila Holdings. 

“He has an innovative and inclusive business leadership background with a proven track record of turning consumer insights into commercial opportunities that create sustainable growth.”

According to South Korea-headquartered Fila, Klein will use his 30-years of industry experience to propel the brand’s growth while also establishing sustainable business operations in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

Klein began his career in the 1990s at Adidas USA and later worked as Global Sports marketing director for Reebok from 2004 to 2009 when the firm was acquired by Adidas. He comes to Fila from Adidas where he was the VP of advanced concepts.
