Australian bubble tea business Chaffic will launch its first physical presence in Singapore on Friday (June 9), accelerating its expansion strategy in Southeast Asia.

Located at the lifestyle shopping mall Westgate in Singapore’s upcoming ‘second CBD’, Chaffic aims to expand the diversity of local bubble tea at a reasonable price point. The brand, known for its signature Tofu Milk Tea, Australia’s first, has rapidly developed across Western Australia since its inception in Fremantle.

“Expanding into Singapore is also a natural progression for our business,” said Jennifer Jiang, co-founder of Chaffic.

“We benefit from the country’s extensive supply chain network to enter other neighbouring markets while leaning on her innovative workforce to develop creative blends that will constantly refresh and excite our customers in Singapore and across the region.”

Jamba Juice, a US-based smoothie brand, announced last month that its first Singapore facility would open in mid-June at Changi Airport’s Terminal 1.
