Coty to produce, distribute Etro’s fragrances

Beauty company Coty has agreed to produce and distribute Italian fashion house Etro’s signature fragrance lines and home scent collections beyond 2040.

Under the agreement, Coty will assume the development, production, and distribution of all Etro perfumes and fragrances.

The two companies will also collaborate on exploring new categories and innovations to expand Coty’s beauty portfolio.

“This agreement further underscores Coty’s focus on fashion-driven licenses with significant multi-category potential which resonate with consumers in our key markets,” Coty CEO Sue Nabi said.

“The collaboration will enable us to leverage synergies between our companies while taking advantage of Coty’s expertise and industry-leading capabilities,” Etro CEO Fabrizio Cardinali, added.

Currently, Etro is present in more than 130 locations in over 20 countries across Europe, North America, and Asia Pacific.
