Paris Baguette opens first store in the Philippines

SPC Group-owned bakery franchise Paris Baguette has opened its first branch in the Philippines as part of its global expansion strategy. 

The South Korean company has signed a master franchise agreement with Berjaya Food for its Philippines debut in the Mall of Asia.

The launch marks the brand’s 11th country since it began worldwide expansion in 2004. Paris Baguette currently has 550 locations throughout the globe. 

Last month, SPC Group announced a partnership with coffee chain Pascucci to establish its presence in the Italian market.

Founded in 1988, Paris Baguette has become one of the biggest bakery chains in South Korea. The brand has expanded its footprint in other countries including Vietnam, Singapore and the Philippines.
