L’Oréal Travel Retail has named Jesus Abia as MD for Asia Pacific, succeeding Tao Zhang.

Abia’s appointment will take effect on July 1. Meanwhile, Zhang will transition into a new role in L’Oréal Group, which is yet to be announced.

Abia started her career in L’Oréal 14 years ago in Spain before joining L’Oréal Travel Retail teams, first in the Americas as an area manager, then in Asia Pacific as MD.

In 2019, Abia returned to Spain and served as GM at YSL Beauty and Biotherm.

Currently, Abia works as GM for Europe for luxe couture brands namely Prada, Mugler, Valentino, and Viktor & Rolf.
