Korean beauty brand Laneige has tapped BTS member Jin as its global ambassador. 

BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band consists of Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook and has since become one of the most popular performers in the world.

The company said it had chosen Jin for his “healthy confidence and radiant energy”, which can positively influence people, a quality that aligns with Laneige’s core values. 

“I am delighted to begin my first beauty modelling with Laneige,” said Jin. “As a brand loved worldwide, I look forward to presenting my best with Laneige, so please anticipate great things.”

This month, the company will launch a global campaign featuring Jin for its Cream Skin range under the theme “First step, genius hydration”. Cream Skin’s best-selling product is the Skin Cerapeptide Refiner, a toner made for all skin types and encapsulates the hydration of a full moisturising cream into a toner.

Laneige Cream Skin x Jin will be available at Olive Young stores and various e-commerce platforms.
