Fresh grocery e-commerce company Dingdong has appointed Song Wang as CEO following the resignation of founder Changlin Liang, who will continue as chairman of the board.
Wang joined Dingdong in 2023 and has held several senior leadership roles, including SVP, CFO, and director. Last year, he was appointed chairman of the Dingdong Guyu Business Group, the company’s private-label product division.
The company said Wang has been closely involved in product development, supply chain construction, and financial strategy, and described him as having strong leadership in finance and operations.
Commenting on his appointment, Wang said he will continue to focus on strengthening product and supply chain capabilities.
“I will work with the team to continue building differentiated product strengths, enhancing supply chain capabilities, and upholding our user-centric service philosophy,” he added.
