Tops is stepping up its presence in Thailand’s booming beauty market with the launch of a standalone Looks format.

The Central Retail-owned retailer will open the first standalone Looks store on May 20 at Robinson Lifestyle Srisamarn, marking a strategic shift for the beauty and wellness brand as it expands into dedicated specialty retail.

According to the company, the expansion forms part of a broader long-term growth strategy for the brand, with plans to expand Looks to 100 locations across all formats by 2028.

Previously operated primarily as beauty zones within Tops supermarkets, Looks is being repositioned to target the growing masstige and ‘new-gen’ segments.

The standalone concept will offer more than 5000 SKUs spanning skincare, makeup and inner wellness. Around 15 per cent of the assortment will comprise exclusive products available only at Looks stores.

The store will also feature a ‘Solution Bar’, where customers can receive consultations and tailored recommendations from Looks beauty specialists.

Alongside the standalone rollout, the brand continues to maintain a sizeable omnichannel footprint through 105 dedicated Looks zones inside Tops stores and 17 Tops Daily branches nationwide.
