Misto Holdings has expanded Fila’s retail footprint in Malaysia by opening four new stores in the first half of the year, taking the brand’s total network in the country to 14 locations.
The new stores, located across key commercial districts including Kuala Lumpur and Penang, form part of the company’s strategy to strengthen its presence in one of Southeast Asia’s key retail markets.
One of the openings is Southeast Asia’s first Fila 1911 Store, located at Gurney Plaza in Penang. The new retail format features Fila’s lifestyle and performance collections alongside a Heritage Zone dedicated to the brand’s history and sporting roots.
The Penang store is also Fila Malaysia’s third flagship-format location, after Sunway Pyramid and Mid Valley Southkey, each spanning more than 200sqm.
According to the company, the Fila 1911 concept will be introduced in other Southeast Asian markets from next year.
“Malaysia is a strategic hub for our Southeast Asia business,” said Misto Holdings spokesperson.
“Beyond expanding our retail network, we are committed to creating differentiated retail environments where consumers can naturally connect with Fila’s history, values, and sports heritage. Going forward, we will continue to strengthen our retail footprint while expanding the Fila 1911 concept across Southeast Asia.”
The latest expansion follows a strong start to the year for Misto Holdings. In May, the company reported first-quarter growth, supported by robust demand for its golf equipment business and K-fashion brands.
