Former Spice Girl come fashion designer, Victoria Beckham, is opening her first flagship store in London, with a longer goal of Asian expansion.

The soccer star wife and ex-pop star is looking for sites in London off the back of the wholesale success of her self-named brand, VB, on Net-a-Porter and in luxury department stores.

“People say, ‘Am I going to have my own store?’ I would love to. That’s what I’m working on at the moment,” she told CNN’s Talk Asia.

“It would probably be in London, but in the not-too-distant future maybe it will be Hong Kong. Who knows?”

Her clothing line, which has seen the continuance of her anti-fur belief, has seen success in Asia with it also deemed Designer Brand of the Year at the 2011 British Fashion Awards.

“What I do really is not just focus on the US or England,” said Beckham.

“I mean there’s a lot of territories that are really big for me and Asia is very exciting.”

“I’m just scratching the surface at the moment. I want take baby steps with this business; I don’t want to run before I can walk.”
