Belgian fries chain BelFrit has opened in Thailand, its first presence in Asia.
The store is located on the sixth floor of Central Plaza Chaengwattana in Bangkok. Besides Belgian style fries, the food concept offers desserts, sweets, fresh salads, hot and cold drinks and weekly menu specials.
Founded in 2003, BelFrit began as a small entrepreneurial venture whose goal was to share Belgium’s love of fried potatoes with the world.
BelFrit takes this “unique cultural and culinary passion” and translates it into a successful snack restaurant. With a network of 175 frituren under the BestFrit label from its sister organisation in Belgium, the concept has quickly expanded across Europe.
The first BelFrit shop was opened in Budapest, Hungary and today can be found in over 20 locations in three countries. Next to activities in Hungary, Poland and Spain, BelFrit is currently developing a network in eastern Europe and Asia.
