IWC relaunches in Taipei

After five years, IWC Schaffhausen has reopened its doors in Taiwan at Taipei 101.

Designed by IWC’s in-house team of architects and designers, the boutique is fitted out with dark woods and materials it says bring the company’s spirit and philosophy to life.

The facade features a glossy black glass while the interior showcases IWC’s collections: the Portuguese with heritage in navigation, the Da Vinci which is a tribute to the universal Renaissance genius, the Ingenieur which is a companion on expeditions, the Aquatimer created specially for divers, the Portofino, inspired by Italian-style dolce vita and the Pilot’s Watches.

“Taipei 101 attracts a discerning and affluent clientele, among them many watch enthusiasts and collectors, who will appreciate the sophisticated and inviting ambience we have created in our new boutique,” said IWC Schaffhausen CEO Georges Kern.

The Switzerland-based watch manufacturer also opened its first boutique in Macau at the Galaxy casino complex in July. IWC set foot in Asia three years ago when it opened first store in Hong Kong.
